Refund Policy

Fourteen days in the EEA and the UK.

This page covers Nexosa Premium, the optional paid membership, and one-off contributions. Everything else about Nexosa Media Center is free, so there is nothing to refund. A consumer in Norway, the EEA or the United Kingdom has a statutory right to withdraw within fourteen days, and the publisher does not ask anybody to give it up. Elsewhere the answer depends on the law where you live, and section 2 says how. Not every request is eligible, and section 8 says which.

Effective and last updated: 9 September 2026.

1. Who you are buying from

Nexosa Premium is sold by the publisher of Nexosa Media Center, named with a contact address on About this site. Payment is taken by Buy Me a Coffee, which acts as the payment platform under its own terms and its own refund guidelines. The publisher never sees your card details.

Because the publisher is the seller, a request to withdraw or a request for a refund should come to the publisher first. Buy Me a Coffee states that it does not handle refunds on a creator's behalf except where there is evidence of a fraudulent transaction.

2. Where you live decides what you are owed

Nexosa Media Center is sold to people all over the world, and the right to change your mind about a digital purchase is not a worldwide right. It is worth being plain about that rather than implying a promise that only some readers can hold the publisher to.

  • Norway, the EEA and the United Kingdom. You have a statutory right to withdraw within fourteen days, described in section 3. It is a right, not a favour, and it is not conditional on the publisher agreeing.
  • Anywhere else. There is no statutory withdrawal right standing behind this page. A refund is given where the consumer law of your own country requires one, and otherwise only in the situations in sections 6, 7 and 9, which are the publisher's own practice rather than law. Say where you are when you write, because it decides what you are owed rather than what you may be given.
  • Buying for a business. The withdrawal right belongs to consumers, meaning a person not acting mainly for the purposes of a trade or business. A company, or a sole trader buying for their work, is outside it.

Two things below apply wherever you are, because they are not about changing your mind: a payment you did not authorize, in section 10, and a purchase that was never delivered, in section 9.

3. Your fourteen day right of withdrawal

Under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive it implements, a consumer buying at a distance may withdraw from the agreement within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the membership was taken out. A consumer in the United Kingdom has the equivalent right to cancel, over the same fourteen days, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

The right is not reduced for Nexosa Premium. Both regimes let a seller of digital content remove the right, but only by asking the buyer, before delivery starts, to consent expressly to it starting early and to acknowledge that the right is thereby lost. Nexosa asks for neither, so nothing is waived: you keep the full fourteen days even though the features switch on immediately.

Withdrawing inside those fourteen days is refunded in full. You are not charged a proportion for the days you used it, and there is no fee for withdrawing.

4. How to withdraw

Send a clear statement to the publisher's contact address onAbout this sitebefore the fourteen days are up. Any unambiguous wording is enough, and it does not have to be on a form. Sending it in time is what counts, not when it is read. Keep a copy: the law puts the burden of showing that notice was sent on the buyer.

If you would rather use the standard form, this is it. Copy it, fill it in and send it.

To the publisher of Nexosa Media Center, at the contact address on the About this site page:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my agreement for the sale of the following service: Nexosa Premium.

Ordered on: ____________________
Name of consumer: ____________________
Address of consumer: ____________________
Signature (only if this form is sent on paper): ____________________
Date: ____________________

The publisher confirms receipt on a durable medium as soon as a notice sent electronically arrives.

5. When the money comes back

All payments received are returned without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the notice of withdrawal arrives. The refund goes back by the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and it costs you nothing.

Buy Me a Coffee says an approved refund takes five to seven business days to process on its side, and that where funds have already been paid out to the creator it may wait until the balance allows it. That is the platform's own timing. It does not extend the fourteen days the publisher has to return your money.

6. Cancelling, which is not the same thing

Cancelling a membership is a button on Buy Me a Coffee. It stops the next payment. It is not a refund of a payment already made, and it does not end the period you have paid for: the membership runs to the end of that period and the extras switch off when it does, usually the same day, because the apps ask about once every few hours.

Nothing you own or have stored is removed when Nexosa Premium ends. Your films, music, pictures, accounts, favorites and resume points are untouched. The extra features simply stop.

A renewal you did not expect. The statutory fourteen days attach to the original agreement rather than to each renewal, and Buy Me a Coffee lists cancelling after a renewal date among the reasons it declines a refund. The publisher usually takes a softer line: if a renewal took you by surprise, tell the publisher within fourteen days of it and, where the renewed period has gone substantially unused, it will normally be refunded. This one is goodwill and is decided case by case. It is offered on top of your legal rights, never instead of them, and being refused it takes nothing away from section 3.

7. One-off contributions

A one-off contribution on Buy Me a Coffee, a "coffee", is a gift. It buys nothing: it grants no Discord role and unlocks nothing in the apps. Only the monthly or yearly membership does that. Because nothing is sold, the statutory right of withdrawal for a purchase does not attach to it, and Buy Me a Coffee treats one-off support as non-refundable.

The publisher will nonetheless normally return a contribution that was plainly a mistake, such as the same payment made twice, an amount typed wrongly, or one sent in the belief that it would unlock Nexosa Premium. Ask, and say what happened. This is goodwill rather than an entitlement, and it applies wherever you live.

8. What is not refunded

Not every request is eligible. A page that lists only the times it says yes is not being straight with anybody, so here are the times it says no.

  • A period that has already run, once the withdrawal period has passed and the law where you live gives no longer one. You had the use of it.
  • A renewal you meant to take. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not undo one you intended to make and then thought better of.
  • A one-off contribution that was not a mistake. It is a gift, it bought nothing, and Buy Me a Coffee treats one-off support as non-refundable.
  • Anything already raised with your bank as a chargeback or a claim, until that is settled. Not to be awkward: two refunds for one payment is a mess for both of us, and your bank's process takes precedence while it runs.

None of this cuts down section 3. A statutory right does not stop applying because a policy page lists exceptions, and where the two disagree the law wins.

9. If something was not delivered

Separately from withdrawing, you are entitled to what you paid for. If Nexosa Premium was bought and the features never switched on, that is a failure to deliver and it is refundable whenever it happens, not only inside the first fourteen days. Tell the publisher what you saw and it will be put right or refunded.

Worth knowing before you buy, because it is the usual cause: most of what Nexosa Premiumunlocks runs on a Nexosa server in your own house. On a device with no server it adds the three extra colour schemes and nothing else. That is said on thePremium sectionof the front page as well, above the price rather than below it.

10. Payments you did not make

If your card was used without your permission, contact your bank or card issuer first, then Buy Me a Coffee at support@buymeacoffee.com. Unauthorized use of a card is one of the scenarios Buy Me a Coffee handles directly, and it is the only category in which the platform states it acts without the creator's agreement. Tell the publisher as well, so any entitlement issued on the back of that payment can be withdrawn.

11. What it costs, for the avoidance of doubt

Nexosa Premium costs 5 USD a month or 50 USD a year. Buy Me a Coffee converts that into your own currency at the checkout, so the figure you are shown there may be a different number for the same price. There are no other charges, no setup fee and no charge for cancelling or withdrawing.

12. Buy Me a Coffee's own policy

The platform publishes its own refund guidelines. In summary: it asks supporters to contact the creator first; the creator decides; a supporter unhappy with that decision may ask the platform's support, which reviews each case individually and does not guarantee an outcome. It names duplicate payments, non-delivery within an agreed timeframe, dissatisfaction with a shop item and unauthorized card use as grounds it will consider, and it names digital shop items, cancellation after a renewal date and one-off support among the grounds it declines.

A platform's guidelines cannot take away a statutory right. The Right of Withdrawal Act cannot be set aside by agreement to a consumer's disadvantage. Where the two differ, your rights against the publisher under that act apply, and the publisher will not point at a platform rule to avoid them.

13. If you are not satisfied

Ask the publisher first, using the contact onAbout this site. Say what you bought, when, and what you want to happen.

If that does not settle it, a consumer in Norway can take the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), which mediates, and from there to the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget), which decides. A consumer elsewhere in the EEA can ask the European Consumer Centre in their own country. These routes are free and are in addition to the courts.

Norwegian law governs, and the mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules of your own country are unaffected.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may change. A change applies to purchases made after it is published and never reduces rights attached to a purchase already made. The date at the top says when it last changed.

This page describes the publisher's practice and summarizes rights that come from law. It is not legal advice, and a summary is never the statute. The Right of Withdrawal Act and the consumer protections of your own country apply whatever this page says. See also theTerms of Service.
